• The version of this book has every single table of commands formatted as an image, and not text. That means it cannot be scaled, and reading the book on a PC results in very difficult to read tables. The tables are the real content of the book - ALL of the commands reside in these tables, and not a single bit of it is formatted as text. Other books in this series, like CCNA Portable Command Guide, have at least the vast majority of tables formatted as scalable text. This book is almost entirely image-based. Hopefully this will be changed in an updated version.
• if you do other things right, you will pass the exam with this book and you'd know more than average network engineer who didn't use this book!
• Book is useful and contains numerous helpful command-lines and examples of how to configure various tasks. Some of the examples seem rather basic and I've had to dig through them to apply them to some situations I'm encountering at work. A very useful reference guide.

• This book has been a great easy reference for learning Cisco switch commands during a new datacenter project. It's well organized by function. As an improvement, I would suggest expanding on real-world syntax examples.
